I'm tired and had to apologize to the boys a few times this morning for being a little cranky. The fact that they almost all tried on some "attitude" doesn't change the fact that I feel bad about it. The adults are supposed to be above that, right? I specifically remember saying "I don't care" several times when they were moaning and/or complaining about each other. I'm pretty sure they still really enjoyed each other too, so all is well.
I painted the door that Pete customized and installed for me last year. I ate well. Good night!

"Personally I think it's totally appropriate to say " I don't care", to squabbling kids. I take no offence if anyone uses it on me, and I wish I was more comfortable saying it to more people, more often.
ReplyDeleteBesides, some people beat their kids with a stick and think it's a good thing!! You definitely should not feel bad!

Sounds like a good day to me! Of course, I have limited kid experience. I'm sure I would say something stroonger than "I don't care!"
